Our ambassador and artist Lili Cantero has been invited to the FIFA 2022 World Cup to create a series of exclusive works with Tarrago paints that have been exhibited at the Katara Cultural Village in Doha. Lili has established herself as one of the most influential artists in Latin America. She was born in Asunción, Paraguay, and her works are internationally recognised. Lili has found her inspiration in sport, especially football, using unconventional artistic mediums such as football boots and balls to create her art. She has created pieces for well-known athletes and institutions, and on this occasion she has travelled to Qatar to paint a set of artworks for the FIFA World Cup 2022.
Lili has designed and hand-painted a series of footballs and paintings with Tarrago Sneaker Paint, inspired by some of the teams that have played in the world cup and in Qatar. Other actions have also been performed, such as painting an impressive 1.50 metre Boeing 777 live with our paints in the Hospitality of the FIFA Fan Festival during the World Cup Final. All this project has been televised and broadcasted through various media in different countries, such as CNN, Los Ángeles Time, or La Nación, among others. In one of our last conversations, Lili shared this message with us:
“Bringing my artwork to the Qatar World Cup is a dream I have been working on for years, and having Tarrago’s support was fundamental for the creation of the pieces for the exhibition, as well as for each of the activations I was doing throughout the World Cup for Conmebol, Qatar Airways and for the exhibition at Katara Cultural Village.”
Tarrago Sneaker Paints have the best formula on the market in terms of pigmentation and durability and can be used on leather, synthetic leather, canvas and denim.
